Saves the dates, invitation suite, and thank you cards for Logan and Sarah’s September wedding. The couple is having a beautifulll Chicago wedding, and when I saw their mood board I knew exactly what we were going to do. Their venue is industrial and they are bringing in multiple romantic elements with the fabrics, florals and lighting their team is putting together. The mood board was awash with beautiful shades of gray (ALWAYS a fan!) and one of the accent colors I spotted was copper. It’s not everyday you get to play around with the beautiful rosy shade of copper, so when the mother of the bride asked if we could do foil printing with copper, we made it happen! I’m so happy with the end result – the mix of florals, metal, and architecture are so lovely and fitting for this couple. The invitation suite is made up of a foil pressed invite, a square Friday night invitation, a foldover map/information card, and a simple RSVP card.
The save the dates bring in the same architectural elements, but here we chose to use some sage greens being used elsewhere for the wedding. It’s soft and inviting, perfect for their party announcement. The two looks are tied together with the Friday night reception card picking up where the save the date left off.
The thank you cards were meant to match the suite but be evergreen in design so the couple can use them long past their wedding date.
